- Wash the
Japanese short grain riceuntil the water runs clear, then soak in water until ready to use. - Finely chop the
carrot,green onions, andgarlicclove. - In a small bowl, whisk together the
soy sauce,sake,mirin,sesame oil,sugar, andstock powderto create the seasoning sauce. - Place the drained
Japanese short grain riceinto the rice cooker bowl and add thewater. - Layer the chopped
carrot,ground beef, andgarlicover the rice, spreading them evenly. Pour the seasoning mixture over the top. - Cook on the standard white rice setting.
- While the rice cooks, beat the
